Golf IT Belgium started in 2009 with 2 trial competitions for a couple of golfing IT people. Almost immediately is turned out to be a success so we decided to formalize the community in to a nonprofit organization. Golf IT Belgium vzw officially was born on August 27, 2009.
Today we already count over more than 600 members in all levels of the IT sector, we organized already 13 different competitions which were played on 18 different competition days. In 2011 more than 20% of our community did participate to 1 or more competitions.
